“I’m writing to thank you for the article titled “White Forsyth Man Confronts Past Racism” …I didn’t make it past the first half of the first sentence in the second paragraph before I burst into tears. The article was very well written. I appreciate especially that it was not just about Zack Arlas’ journey, but it outlined a path, whereby we can both have compassion for not wanting to be blamed for our culturally-programmed racism, and a route to discovery where we might become a better human…I will pursue a deeper exploration here and may invite some other women to do so with me.”
